Why Wiscombe Manor Hill Climb event?

With the demise of the popular Charmouth Manor Farm hill climb venue, due to operational changes within the venue management team and their plans for its future, the event team from Woolbridge Motor Club have been successful for this year, to secure a replacement 2 day event on the same weekend at nearby Wiscombe Park.

This was agreed with the operation team (Wiscombe Ltd) from Wiscombe Park, who suggested a combined event promoted by the leading clubs who bring you the majority of the enjoyable Wiscombe Hill Climbs throughout the season.

Therefore the event will be a joint promotion between the Burnham-on-Sea, Taunton, Torbay and Woolbridge Motor Clubs the event will be named Wiscomnbe Manor Hill Climb and will be on Saturday/Sunday 23rd/24th September 2023.

The majority of the championships that came to Manor Farm will be included in the event, with the added attraction of it now being the final round in the hotly contested Wiscombe Hill Climb Championship.  We are also welcoming the National Hill Climb Association and their Motorcycle entry who also competed at Manor Farm.

With this being a one year only deal to provide competitors with an event, it has been decided that it will be run as a fund raising event, with profits being raised for good causes and to help towards some updated equipment for the Wiscombe maintenance team, that looks after the venue between events. The maintenance team put a lot of effort throughout the year in an aim to keep the venue to a high standard.

We look forward to seeing you all on the weekend and thank you for your valuable continued support.
